Boodapug was founded in 2009 by a pair of pug- lovin’ individuals who thought the world might be a better place if more people shared their passion, specifically on a T–shirt or maybe collectible coffee mug. (Hey, it worked for Hello Kitty.) After countless hours studying the pug form, drawing costumed cuties, and learning how to build a website (or two), Boodapug was born.
The Boodapug team is: Sue (webmaster and blogger) and Rob (designer and writer), along with our pug Chloe (motivator and supporter). You can check out our website and find additional contact info at the link below.

Adopt-a-Pug Monday: Otis from New York
“Adoption fee…150.00 .. Otis, 7.5 yr old male, came into my rescue with his brother Oliver due to the families lack of time. The pair were kept downstairs in a large room alone with food, water and pee pads. They were not let outside for fear of them getting ill. Both are happy fellas with their tails wagging all the time. Good with dogs, cats and kids! They are the sweetest pair you will meet. Otis has seen my vet for a physical exam, shots, heart worm tests and fecals. He is in great health other then a case of dry eye that was never taken care of and left him with limited vision…he gets drops in each eye 2x daily. He can see and does get around quite well… He is house broken and is crate trained. He hasn’t had an accident in quite a while but did have some in the beginning which is common for a dog in a new home. Otis doesn’t really have a bark..it is more of a woo-woo which he is very happy to do for you when you arrive home from work letting you know how very happy he is to see you. I would love to see Otis and Oliver go to a home together but it is not necessary. if interested in adopting Otis you can contact me at Email: tinaf0807@gmail.com for an application”
Pacific Pug Rescue: “Rosie is a sweet and friendly 9 year old Pug who is new to our rescue program. Rosie seems much younger than her age! She gets along with all people and is good with other dogs. Rosie has lots of energy but also enjoys relaxing in her bed. Rosie is housetrained and crate trained. Rosie will be available for adoption after dental cleaning.”
I was going by a pet store today and they had a sign outside saying they had puglets. I just had to go in and take a few pictures of them. I love baby pugs.
Oh, please, please don’t buy a pug from a pet store! Try adopting one from a rescue organization. They have lots of pugs that need homes. And if that doesn’t work out, search for a reputable breeder.
New pup at Pacific Pug Rescue: “Poppy is an adorable 8 month old Pug puppy who is new to our rescue program. She is a playful and friendly girl. Poppy is crate trained and doing well with her housetraining. Poppy will do well with a person or family who has the time and the ability to make a commitment to caring for an active pup. Poppy will be available for adoption after her vet exam.” More info here.
Pacific Pug Rescue posted 3 more pugs looking for families to adopt them, including Mimi. See their Facebook page for more info.
