Boodapug
Boodapug was founded in 2009 by a pair of pug- lovin’ individuals who thought the world might be a better place if more people shared their passion, specifically on a T–shirt or maybe collectible coffee mug. (Hey, it worked for Hello Kitty.) After countless hours studying the pug form, drawing costumed cuties, and learning how to build a website (or two), Boodapug was born.

This weekend’s miserable wet/slushy snowfall reminded Mom about our winter coats and how she doesn’t have ANY photos of us wearing them. We don’t wear them much because they’re waaaayyy too tight, especially with our harnesses underneath. They were our last resort for only the very coldest days this winter! And the hood on Roxy’s coat broke off its snap button and has to be held in place with a safety pin. But Mom thinks they’re super-cute and is sad they don’t fit our deep pug chests better.
Well, the lack of coat-photos has since been rectified with 20+ pics. We modelled the crap outta those coats. Here’s a preview until she can get the rest of the shots posted!

It’s not easy brushing pug teeth! Mom can’t even SEE them unless she happens to catch a glimpse when I yawn…. partly because they’re so crowded and hidden in our flat muzzles, partly because I HATE having my face touched in any way that doesn’t involve kisses or cheek-rubs. Wrinkle-cleaning and dental hygiene are a frustrating ordeal around here!
Mom initially tried to gently use a finger brush, but I’d just clamp my mouth shut and refuse to cooperate. Ganging up on me with Dad and forcing my mouth open didn’t seem like a good option either. They already have to double-team me to get my wrinkles cleaned, and that’s no fun for anyone!
She later found a method that worked: I love the toothpaste, so she just lets me lick some of it off the brush, and eventually I’ll start gnawing on it to get all the flavor out. All she has to do is rotate it around my mouth while I chew, and most of my teeth get a good brushing! Very sneaky.
I know we should brush Chloe’s teeth, but it wasn’t really a big thing 12 years ago when she came into her life and i just can’t imagine starting now. But it she actually WANTED to chew on the toothbrush… maybe, just MAYBE, we could try this! Thanks, Hurley and mom!
